At TOWES, we sell most of our products through a Distributor network that spans across Canada.

Our distributors are always doing good work in the area of Essential Skills. Today we want to highlight the work of our Manitoba distributor, Workplace Education Manitoba.

WEM has recently created an excellent video series: Essential Skills – perspective, decision-making and the way forward. Check it out, and while you are there, take a couple minutes to complete a short on-line survey that asks: Who is incorporating workplace Essential Skills in their workplace and how; who isn’t and why; and what is still needed?

Tell us what do you think of WEM’s video series in the comments.

Have you checked out Academica’s “Top Ten”?

Not only were we busy learning about different initiatives going on at BVC and participating in sessions to learn new ideas and skills we can apply in our work, some of our team participated by making presentations, including a presentation on teaching Essential Skills in Namibia and Enhancing Sustainability through Customer Service.
